Norvan Jacket Women's is a shell jacket designed for mountain running, trail running, and hiking, built as an ultralight, highly breathable waterproof layer for running in the rain.
High performance trail running systems for extended high output in challenging terrain.
Pair it with women's trail running shoes and a beanie for wet-weather trail runs.
An ultralight solution for running in the rain, the Norvan Jacket offers exceptional breathability while keeping you dry. The fully waterproof fabric allows sweat to escape without letting outside moisture in so you can focus solely on the trail in front of you. Run-friendly details like vents under the arms make staying on pace no sweat.
What's been updated: Updated with lighter, more durable, and PFAS-free 15D GORE-TEX ePE. Design updates include a new stowable, zippered hip pocket; large reflective branding for low-light visibility; a fully adjustable hood with a small brim; an interior flip cuff for added warmth and protection during bad weather; a new adjustable cordlock system at the hem; and a more discreet RECCO® reflector placement (in the hood).
This product is free of intentionally added PFAS.
The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.

Layers are the instruments of keeping you dry, warm and using your energy efficiently. Put into the right systems, a good sequence of layers provides you with weather protection, moves moisture away from your skin, conserves or dissipates heat, and does this in the least amount of time.
Use the layering guide to select additional pieces for your system and understand how they fit together. Find out more about how to layer on our Layering Page.
