Atom SV Jacket Women's is a warmest, thermo-mapped insulated jacket designed for hiking and trail use, built as a layer that delivers breathable insulation in cold, damp, and windy conditions.
Versatile synthetic insulated mid layers with a high degree of weather resistance.
Man-made insulation with quick dry times, durability and retains warmth when damp.
For cold-weather hiking, wear it with women’s hiking pants and add a beanie for extra warmth.
When the cold hits hard, reach for our warmest Atom jacket. Built for winter hikes and above-the-treeline adventures, it delivers breathable warmth in frigid, damp, and windy conditions. Synthetic Coreloft™ insulation seals in heat, while female-specific underarm gussets boost breathability where you need it most. The cornerstone of your winter hiking kit, the Atom SV serves as a standalone and rides comfortably under a hardshell for next-level protection.
What's been updated: Updated with a FC0 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that’s free from intentionally added PFAS. Improved, female-specific thermal patterning maximizes breathability in the pits while providing extra warmth on the side panels.

Layers are the instruments of keeping you dry, warm and using your energy efficiently. Put into the right systems, a good sequence of layers provides you with weather protection, moves moisture away from your skin, conserves or dissipates heat, and does this in the least amount of time.
Use the layering guide to select additional pieces for your system and understand how they fit together. Find out more about how to layer on our Layering Page.
