The Alpha SV Bib is your armor against ice, spindrift, wind, cold, and the kind of storms that test more than just your gear. Built with burly 100D GORE-TEX PRO ePE, it delivers maximum durability and stormproof protection while maintaining freedom of movement on steep terrain. Side-separating zips allow fast transitions without removing boots, and the low-profile design layers cleanly under a harness. In fact, every detail is purpose-driven for the most demanding alpine environments.
What's been updated: The Alpha SV Bib has been updated to 100D GORE-TEX PRO ePE, our most durable, waterproof-breathable protection, now even lighter and stronger than before—all while remaining free from intentionally added PFAS. The shell contains 63% GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified recycled nylon. A low-profile RECCO® reflector improves your searchability in emergency situations. Storage solutions have expanded to include two new harness-accessible pockets on the thighs and one centre front pocket.

Several models of Arc'teryx pants are sized numerically and may be available in different inseam lengths. Please refer to the specific product page to see which waist size and inseam lengths are available for your product.
*For all other pants available in numerical waist sizes where the inseam length is not specified, these following inseam lengths apply.
*Short inseam lengths subtract 2 inches *Long inseam lengths add 3 inches
Note: Calculate your own body measurements, then select your product size.
1. Waist: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
2. Hip: Standing with feet hip width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
3. Inseam: From a standing position, measure from your crotch down the inside leg to the floor.
Cut snug to the body through the entire garment to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency.
Cut slim to the body through chest, waist, hip and thigh for a low profile fit.
Cut comfortably from the body through bust/chest, waist, hip and thigh for a classic fit.
Cut loosely through the waist, hip, and thigh for a casual fit.
