Fast and light, comfortable and supportive, the Aerios Mid GTX is for extended hikes on technical trails. The design synthesizes with your foot to minimize friction, and the collar adds support and helps seal out debris. The upper is light, durable, and made from 100% recycled polyester, the lacing system wraps the foot for a natural fit and feel, and a GORE-TEX membrane delivers waterproof, breathable protection. Agility, stability, and confidence underfoot come from the Vibram® Megagrip outsole, compressed EVA midsole, and integrated TPU shank.
How to choose your size for footwear with a Default Precision Fit
If you prefer a roomier Comfort Fit: choose ½ size larger than your measured foot length.
If you want to stay with the default performance-oriented Precision Fit: choose the size equal to your measured foot length.
If you prefer a close Technical Fit: choose ½ size smaller than your measured foot length.
Note: Calculate your own foot measurements, then select your product size.
Foot Length: Use a ruler or tape measurer to measure your foot from the heel to the tip of your longest toe. Find the closest measurement that is equal to or greater than the length of your foot.
Layers are the instruments of keeping you dry, warm and using your energy efficiently. Put into the right systems, a good sequence of layers provides you with weather protection, moves moisture away from your skin, conserves or dissipates heat, and does this in the least amount of time.
Use the layering guide to select additional pieces for your system and understand how they fit together. Find out more about how to layer on our Layering Page.
